John
W. Lee was born in Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth,
Virginia on March 21, 1973. John lived in the Princess Anne
area of Virginia Beach where he attended Princess Anne junior
high school and graduated from Kellam High School in 1991.
He was an active member of the Boy Scouts in high school and
atttained the rank of Eagle Scout in 1989. John graduated
from Liberty University in 1995 with a major in Government
and a minor in Philosophy. He graduated in the top third of
his class from Regent University School of Law in 1998. In
that same summer he married his wife Dawn Lee and they have
been happily married for over eight years. John passed the
Virginia State Bar exam the first time he took it and began
practicing law in Norfolk, Virginia in 1998. He joined a firm
in Hampton, Virginia in 2000 and opened his own firm in September
2002. He opened his second office in April 2006 in Virginia
Beach, Virginia. John primarily practices in the areas of
bankruptcy, divorce, criminal, and civil contracts. He is
admitted to practice before all Virginia Courts and the Eastern
District of Virginia Bankruptcy Bar. John is currently a member
of the Virginia State Bar, Hampton Bar, and National Association
of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Seth
Schoenfeld joined the firm of John W. Lee in 2006.
Seth practices in the areas of Bankruptcy, Divorce, Personal
injury, Criminal and Taxation Law. Seth graduated in 1996
from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science
in Chemical Engineering. Seth attended Touro Law Center in
Huntington, New York and graduated in 2002. Seth was admitted
to practice law in New York in 2003.
Seth moved with his family
from New York to Norfolk, Virginia in 2004 and was admitted
to practice Law in Virginia in 2005. Seth was admitted to
practice before the U.S. bankruptcy court in 2006.
Seth is
an active member of the B’nai Israel Orthodox congregation
of Tidewater. Seth is an active member of the New York State
Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar Association. |

Kim Lewis received a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Kentucky University in 1983 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Marshall Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1987.
She has been in private practice in Hampton, Virginia since 1988. The focus of her practice has been primarily family law, bankruptcy and criminal defense.
She also works with Transitions to provide affordable representation for victims of domestic violence. |

Jennifer Shupert was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on June 11, 1978. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2000 with a B.S. in Family Studies and Child Law and graduated with her Juris Doctorate in May of 2003, and was admitted to the Virginia Bar in October of 2003. Jennifer is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Beach Bar Association and the Virginia Women Attorney’s Association.
She currently practices in the following areas:
- Domestic: contested and uncontested divorces, custody, support, visitation, separation agreements, motion for show cause, step-parent
adoption
- Juvenile: criminal, traffic, status offenses
- Criminal: traffic, misdemeanors, minor felonies, expungements
- Civil: wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance medical directives, small estate planning
Jennifer has been married to her husband, James, since June of 1999, and they have two children – Carter, born in 2005 and Sophia, born in 2007. |

Timothy Roy Douglass was born in Topeka, Kansas on March 3, 1986. He graduated in 2003 from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and received his Juris Doctor from Regent University in 2006. In law school, Mr. Douglass was a member of the Christian Law Society, and Business Transactions Law Society and he was the Regent Law School Chapter president of the Federalist Society.
He has been licensed to practice law since October of 2006 and his primary legal experience includes domestic law, criminal law, and estate planning and administration.
His non-legal experience includes working in Cochabamba, Bolivia as an administrator for Hospitals of Hope to build a pediatric hospital in that region. |

Kevin Frank was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from the University of Louisville in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 1999, he received his Juris Doctor degree from Regent University. Kevin was admitted to practice in Virginia in 2008. Prior to beginning his law practice, he spent 7 years as a middle school social studies teacher.
It was during that time that he met his wife Traci. Kevin and Traci were married in 2005 and reside in Virginia Beach where they raise their four boys: William, David, Geoffrey, and Jonathan. Kevin has been an active member of his church choir for over 12 years and coaches youth baseball, basketball and soccer.
Kevin in licensed to practice in all Virginia Courts. He currently practices in the following areas:
Criminal: misdemeanors, minor felonies, expungements.
Traffic: DUI, driving on suspended, reckless driving.
Civil: Personal injury, warrant in debt, landlord/tenant.
